This weekend I went home with Ariel! She lives on a farm here in Idaho and it was beautiful to go visit there! I love the open farmland and the openness of the countryside. I like to see the cows and tractors and just how relaxed it is, the world seems to slow down out in the country, not as fast-paced as in the city. The communication issue here was that this was a good time to see how Ariel and I function and communicate outside of being at Rexburg.
I am not going to lie, our communication struggled a little because I wasn't bothered about what we did while we were at her house and just wanted her to relax and enjoy her time with her family and spend that time however she wanted; but she didn't want me to be bored. I think she was a bit frustrated until I told her that I wasn't bored at all, that I was fine sitting at her house, that's why you get away right? So you don't have to worry, so you can relax. I told her that when I went home over President's Day weekend I read 2 books... she laughed and then understood that I really was ok with anything.We had a good time, but I'm glad that we could have the chat about things and come to an understanding of each other.
